

I just read an interesting article (see it here) that states that people who drink alcohol exercise more often than people who don’t drink at all. This was a government survey of adults in America and found that the more alcohol an adult has the more exercise they do.
Sounds Crazy But It’s True!
The study found that it was heavy drinkers that would do the most exercise and those who didn’t drink wouldn’t exercise much at all. The studies conclusion was that people who drink alcohol do more vigorous forms of exercise.
So What Can Be Learned From This?
Well, I’m certainly not going to tell you to go and drink lots of alcohol because you’ll exercise more, that would just be foolish. Maybe it is a psychological thing that because you know you are consuming more calories, you force yourself to go and burn them off? That is certainly one possibility.
Chimp’s Summary – Even if you don’t drink, you really should exercise each week. It’s not only to lose weight, it is to keep all your internal organs and blood flow working at a safe level. Just 20 minutes a day, 3-4 times a week will see you looking and feeling much better about yourself.
